The readapted space is situated in an existing historic building at a corner of vibrant Commercial Drive. Sensitive design of the Wine Bar creates an intimate and communal atmosphere. Social impact and benefit to the neighbourhood is achieved with increased transparency linking interior spaces to outside and sidewalk seating promotes social interaction. Interior finishes are selected from ‘green’, durable, renewable and recycled products responding to the neighbourhood’s socially responsible mentality.
